KEY PERSONNEL

S. Greg MacNeill, P.Eng. is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Principal with over 31 years of experience working as a geotechnical/geological engineer in Nova Scotia. Well-known in the industry for taking on diverse and challenging engineering projects, Greg has been involved in countless projects in the region throughout his career. His diverse range of experience includes geological and geotechnical investigations for buildings, parking lots, bridges, highways, mine subsidence, tunnels, treatment plant sites, and pipeline projects. Greg has also been involved with materials quality control for the many of the landfills throughout Nova Scotia and has unrivaled experience with the assessment and mitigation of issues related to alkaki-aggregate reactivity, acid rock drainage, and pyritic slate throughout the region.

W. Todd Menzies, M.A.Sc., P.Eng. is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Principal with over 10 years of progressive experience in the consulting and construction industries. Todd has been involved in a wide variety of geotechnical programs throughout North America including projects in eastern Canada, the Canadian Arctic, and the Caribbean. Todd has been involved in foundation testing of over 60 projects and has developed a keen interest in geotechnical instrumentation, advanced soil testing and field monitoring programs. Todd is experienced in all phases of project work from conceptual design, program execution, geotechnical analyses and contract administration.

Vince C. Goreham, Ph.D., P.Eng. is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Principal with 9 years of experience in consulting and academic environments since graduating with his B.Eng. in 2007. Throughout his consulting career, Dr. Goreham has been involved in a wide variety of geotechnical projects throughout North America including projects in Atlantic Canada, British Columbia, Ontario, and Tennessee. In particular, Vince has an interest in soil-structure interaction, geotechnical aspects of transportation infrastructure, geotechnical instrumentation, and slope stability analyses.

Jason Green is a Senior Geotechnical Technician with over 16 years of experience in the consulting and construction industries. Mr. Green is recognized for working on and coordinating complicated projects. He is experienced and proficient at site management, QA/QC testing, site investigations, and safety program implementation. Jason has a comprehensive understanding of geotechnical and materials testing which includes: pile driving analysis, HDPE liner testing, foundation inspections in support of construction, and materials laboratory testing for both concrete and asphalt. He is experienced in the use, installation, and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation including slope inclinometers, vibrating wire piezometers, settlement plates, and high-strain dynamic testing of piles.
