HEC Principal Robbie Fraser was recently interviewed by the Daily Commercial News and Construction Record, Ontario’s construction industry newspaper, regarding the Indian Sluice Bridge Replacement project.

The project involves the replacement of a 103 year old structure that connects the mainland to Surrette’s Island in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The project was tendered as a design-bid-build. The Department agreed to the innovative, yet less expensive, alternate design, which is now under construction.
